Our brand new wah-wah device for bass and synthesiser. The very first such effect designed to function deep into the bass. A frequency range that extends as low as 41Hz offers a raft of sound possibilities especially optimised for the "low end". The result is mean, monster bass. It features the Earth and Quake selectors as well as fine-tuning possibilities. In the Modern mode, the effect signal can be mixed with the original to maintain a powerful bass presence that´s worth its weight in gold. The Classic mode opens whole new dimensions of sound for the bass guitar. Suddenly the bass is able to produce sounds that were previously only possible with the filters of a synthesiser. 




Three function selectors vary the filter circuitry directly and offer a host of sound variations:- hot, funky sounds, biting heavy riffs and out-of-this-world Space effects. The Earth and Quake selectors can be used in combination to produce a total of 12 sound configurations. The Earth selector switches between three different frequency ranges and the Quake knob is responsible for the "Q-Factor" - altering the band width of the filter. The mini switch lets you change instantaneously between Modern and Classic modes, where "Classic" represents the familiar wah-wah effect while "Modern" supplies the opportunity to create new and subtle variations by mixing the effect signal with the original input. The mode is indicated by means of the LED. For the Modern mode a trimming potentiometer on the circuit board governs the mix between the original and effects signals.

The Union Jack overdrive is a brand new development that perfectly complements the rest of the MSD product line. This device reproduces the typical British sounds of the sixties and early seventies - the sound texture reminiscent of Eric Clapton and Cream, Jimmy Page or Paul Kossoff. This being said, the Union Jack sounds the best when placed in front of a Marshall or Vox Amp. The overdrive sound is rich and full, and this tonality is retained even as the amount of Distortion is increased. When using a small amplifier or combo, we recommend using the Deep switch which significantly increases the degree of low-end response. Thanks to its enormous headroom, The Union Jack provides stable, consistent overdrive in front of any amplifier and never sounds muddy or undefined.
